This was a really exciting weekend for Addison and Very Tasteful. They made their debut together at Modified and pulled off a second-place finish! Way to go!!

What a gorgeous weekend for a horse show! Several students made the trip up to Fair Hill to compete and boy was it worth it! Absolutely lovely courses and the nicest crew of people who kept things running smoothly. I think it is so important to get in a good gallop at a place like Fair Hill whenever you can. The horses and riders always seem to flourish on course when they have a little more space to really set a good steady pace. Such a lovely event!

Team ABBF had some fun this past weekend! Katie and Jax had a super first outing of the year at Waredaca while Margaret and her Stilts had a super day in the sandbox! Of course, we are so excited that April came home with aaallllll all the ribbons from her jumper show at the Columbia Horse Center! Way to go everyone!

Thrush is just one of those things- totally inevitable. We use Four Oaks Farm Products ‘s hoof powder. It has totally changed the way we handle thrush in the barn, and it’s so easy to use. We use it almost every day to prevent thrush and protect our horses’ feet!

I just want to take a second and recognize all of the people who are part of our team at ABBF who might not board with us or work every day on the property. First our longtime vet Dr. Engel at Ridgeview Veterinary Practice for the fabulous care, as well as Mythic Landing Enterprises, LLC who handles a lot of the back-end business that gets forgotten between the shuffle of people and horses. When you work in this industry you need to find people you trust to take over what they are best at; and we are so lucky that our team is the best of the best!
Sometimes waiting out the storm is 🌟totally🌟 worth it! We had a great outing this weekend at @Loch Moy Farm ‘s Spring Fling I despite some exciting weather!!
