After a long winter, the girls and I had a really fun outing last weekend at the first of MDHT’s Highland series to get the season going! We are so lucky to have a place like Loch Moy to help both horses and riders stay sharp through the winter months so we can come out ready to go in the spring!

Maybe I’m biased, but nothing beats that fresh-from- Voltaire Design USA & Canada feel—perfectly balanced, and beautifully crafted.

If you spend any time around this barn, you already know how much we rely on Bowman’s Feed & Pet . Their delivery service is incredibly consistent, which keeps our program running smoothly week after week. On the rare occasion when something doesn’t go exactly as planned Bowman’s goes to great lengths to be sure we are not left hanging…..even if that means the owner himself makes a trip to the farm!

I love that Purina Horse Feed offers targeted support like Outlast, which helps maintain digestive comfort when routines, temperatures, and workloads are shifting. Supporting the gut now sets horses up for success later.

Their science-backed formulas take the guesswork out of nutrition—whether it’s maintaining weight through the winter or keeping the competition horses ready for the next season.

Behind every successful barn is a team that makes the day-to-day possible. For us, Bowman’s Feed & Pet is a huge part of that team. From on-time deliveries to stocking those “must-have” extras that keep the barn running, their crew goes above and beyond. Reliable, knowledgeable, and always ready to help—they’re more than just a feed supplier, they’re true partners in our horses’ care.

Our partners at Bowman’s Feed & Pet . From delivering feed on time (no matter what the weather throws our way) to making sure we always have those “extras” that are easy to forget, their team keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We couldn’t do what we do without their dependable support.

We certainly all know how hard it can be to keep reaching for your goals. Sometimes they can seem so far off that they are unattainable BUT if you keep your chin up and your eye on the prize you can get there! Congratulations to Rachel on reaching a lifelong goal this weekend by completing her first preliminary horse trial we are all so happy for you and share in your delight!!
