What a weekend we had between the MDHT Starter Event and the VADA/NOVA Spring Dressage show! It’s always inspiring and amazing to have such a mix of young horses coming along and true veterans such as Tex, who is 20 this year and still marching around! (He’s second in the video – between Kelley & Freyja and Claire with Jones.)
4/9-10: MDHT Starter Event (Adamstown, MD)
- Kelley with Freyja: 5th in Elementary-A (This was Freyja’s FIRST competition!)
- Julie Augustine with Texas Riddle: 6th in Training-B (Tex is 20 this year!)
- Addison Kasley with Very Tasteful: 2nd in Training-B
- Claire Shioutakon with Jones Pache: 6th in Jr. Beginner Novice (This was their first competition together!)
- Camille Stewart with Winning Vow: 4th in Novice-B
- Shari Young with Pure Cotton: 5th in Beginner Novice-B (Well done Shari for finishing your very first BN!)
4/9: VADA/NOVA Spring USDF Dressage Show (Leesburg, VA)
- Margaret McKelvy with Runsonstilts: 3rd in First Level, Test 1 + 4th in First Level, Test 3 (Stilts had a birthday this week! He’s pretty much a unicorn.)
